Patrice Bergeron comes back strong
Monday, December 1, 2008 -
Boston Bruins [team stats] player Patrice Bergeron thought he had died after he was hit from behind and sent headfirst into the boards by Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Randy Jones last October. But he’s used his experience to find new focus and strength.
“It was more about getting through each day and trying to feel better. It was very tough. Especially those first two months. I could hardly walk around the house. It was hard sometimes to stay positive, but I had no doubt in my mind that I’d be back,” Bergeron told Improper Bostonian magazine in an interview published in its Dec. 3 issue.
